Raymond personally goes over each and every arrangement that leaves the shop, so that it meets his demanding quality. Ramiro Meraz started working for a rose grower in Encinitas, Ca. in 1960, where he learned every aspect of growing and selling quality roses. After 20 years, he decided in 1980 to go into business for himself and started Roseflor Nursery in San Marcos, Ca. from the ground up. With much help from his young son's Carlos and Raymond, they became one of the top Rose growers in the world, and along the way built many relationships with florists who used their premium roses for every day use. One of those florist was Mr. Angel Pinto, who was the original owner of Angel's Flowers. When Mr. Pinto decided to retire in 2000, he offered the flower shop to the Meraz family. The Meraz family took over in 2001, and quickly started earning awards and accolades the shop had never seen before, and are now considered one of the premier florists in San Diego. Carlos and Raymond have been working along side their father since they were boys at 13 and 10 years old respectively, so you can say that they were meant to be in the flower business. Today Raymond oversees all the every-day duties of the shop, while Carlos is dedicated to all the Weddings and Special events.

Our shop is open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday and from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.



To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Our shop will always be closed New Year's Day.

A local delivery fee of $8.00 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 2:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
